I served in the Marines from 2006-2011 deployed to Iraq in 2008 and deployed to various southeast Asian countries in the time I served. I'm sure many others feel the way I do, but when I got in it was less the touchy feely Corps, but by the time I got out it was heading deeply to becoming the feelings Corps. Our military doesn't care about winning, our military cares about left wing P.C. bullshit. They hire officers using affirmative action which means if your kids are enlisted they may not be fighting under the best officer they could be. If we go to war with China your kids will be fighting against their best officers, China will be fighting against our diversity quota officers. Don't let your most precious gifts from God join the military. Our government doesn't deserve your kids and our military doesn't take war seriously enough that you should trust them. They care more about getting the transgendered first female spec ops officer than they care about winning operations. When winning is survival it should be the only thing that matters in war. Remember the U.S. government doesn't represent your liberty anymore so why represent them overseas. It's time red blooded true Americans stop dying so Washington elites can pad their pocket books.

If you are commissioned you are commissioned for life and they can recall you at any moment. Also if the person is the wrong color and gender they are likely to miss some promotion opportunities based on those factors. I wasn't an officer so I cant say how the behind the scenes works completely, but my time sitting on radio watch I saw if you're an officer you have to do a lot of ass kissing if you're getting promoted.
