That event was HIS idea, the idea of the incumbent president who was just one of the two candidates in the most recent U.S. election, which the media has been continuously saying was won by the other candidate. And it just took place yesterday, and he has STILL not conceded, and there are still 4 ongoing election-fraud lawsuits, RIGHT NOW (linked below); does that sound like he's getting ready to step aside? Imagine, in some alternate universe, if the media declared Trump the winner, and Biden spent a month urging DEMOCRATS to gather in DC to protest the election on Jan 6--would that seem like Biden is ready to make things run smoothly to Trump's second term?
The official start time of the event was 11 AM, and even with the tearing down of multiple security fences and the entrance of the Capitol Building by hundreds of people, Trump didn't post his video saying to head home until it was 4:22 PM, and I would very reasonably assume that, in the preceding hours, he was getting nonstop calls and messages from top-level political officials (including Pelosi and the Mayor of DC) and others begging and demanding that he release such a video before things get out of hand.
6 days ago, there were a bunch of news reports about B-52 jets being sent to Iran, and how Iran is saying that Trump is trying to start a war with them. Could THAT saber-rattling be the stay-in-office Trump Card? Recall the 2004 election debate about IRAQ? - Should we "cut-and-run" or "stay the course" because "you don't change horses mid-stream"? And then Bush was re-elected.

The only thing I find strange about is is that it’s not coming directly from him. NTD, the Epoch Times, and this guy all said that he said that but there is nothing on Twitter, he just got permanently banned from Facebook, and no statement was released from the White House. Idk.
