I hate making WW2 analogies, but this was a near nonexistent Reichstag Fire that gave them their justifications to move on. Congress was back in session HOURS after this “insurrection.” But it is prolly for the best that we all have an idea of what their playbook would look like. Trump either has a plan in store for this, or he was completely backstabbed, which I refuse to believe. But we all need to prepare for at the least short term changes that we will feel, and look out for the major changes that are their meat and potatoes. Remember Kristallnacht wasn’t for another 5 years after the burning of parliament.
