I'm not that radicalized enough to want to forsake my daughters

Your inaction will forsake them regardless of whether you stand up or not. By sitting idle you guarantee a future of subjugation for your children and their children after that. We are all guilty of that in the current state but make no mistake, inaction now ends any future you want for them. In the eyes of the coming state (which history has shown time and time again), you are just a caretaker, your daughters are the property of the state. Maybe you don't feel like your kids are worth fighting for, but not everyone has that type of limp wristed mindset.
