It's becoming a meme here that there will never be another fair election. If that's true then the right set of actions are beyond the scope of discussion for this forum. I think it is worth reexamining this idea though, because there are some political actions we can be taking that have a chance of working.

State legislatures control election processes per the constitution. That hasn't changed. They have been asleep at the wheel, but that can absolutely change. Nothing about losing control of the federal government has changed this.

We need to be going after these positions. State lawmakers are nobody. They have smaller constituencies than your local dog catcher and turnout for their elections is minimal. We can pressure and if needed replace these guys. Even election fraud only goes so far. THIS should be the entire initial focus of the new party we are about to found.

Our demands there are simple:

  1. No more electronic voting machines.
  2. No more no-excuse mail in voting.
  3. Radical transparency increase -- cameras everywhere, better access for observers, etc.
  4. Better voter authentication. Voter ID, etc.

These things will be far far easier to get traction on when we are not in the middle of a highly visible presidential election.

For the doomers that say political action is impossible, I get it. I really do. Go do what you gotta do. For the rest of us, there is no reason not to try a multipronged approach here. It would be irresponsible of us not to fight in every way possible.

You have no power to make those changes and never will. OP, stop living a farce and join reality.

The basic objectives we need to achieve in order to either reclaim this republic or establish a new are the same -- regardless of whether we achieve them peacefully or through other means.

If anyone thinks a violent revolution can achieve anything without parallel diplomatic, political, and public relations efforts they are delusional. A few hundred Tim McVeighs, acting in isolation, will achieve exactly as much as this election did.

The "non-peaceful" components, which I agree are likely to be required, cannot be constructively organized here. The only conversations we can have about that boil down to thinly veiled whining.

What we can do here is start organizing the auxilery and political wings of said revolution.

On the political side that means cultivating alliances with politicians at all levels, and especially those local to each if us. It means where possible getting our own people on the inside. It means starting to formulate and clearly articulate political objectives to be achieved by whatever means.

On the auxilery side it means establishing a network of patriots capable of ensuring logistic support for each other in the face of economic collapse and political oppression. It means establishing communications networks that don't have single points if failure controlled by our enemies.

So yes, peace is over. Peaceful work that can be openly discussed and organized on a forum like this one is not.
