I think he is an active collaborator, not a fall guy.

Just for basic thought.....How often do we all state that the swamp runs deep and anyone that has been a career politician that has made it to the top has likely been compromised?.....Maybe he was being leveraged by Trump until he saw his way out ?....who knows , but odds are he had to have some dirt on him !

State legislatures are passing the buck. Pence is going to get a big pay out for being the scapegoat.

Yep they had 6 weeks to act and failed until the 11th hour

13th hour. Day late and a dollar short. Hard to believe that wasn’t deliberate fence-sitting. Hedging their bets to side with whoever won. Sad.

State legislatures never passed a resolution. A letter does not make it a legally binding decision.

What if Dem legislators in Florida sent a letter to Pence to tell him to send it back to the states. Was Pence just supposed to do that, even if it meant the same or different slate of electors would be sent?

Georgia governor never allow the state legislature to convene a special session to change it. They asked almost a month ago. Your Florida scenario isn't comparing the same things to what transpired.
