I learned about this last week.. David Crockett (Davey) was a congressman who rebelled in congress and had to leave, over policy disputes. On his way out the chamber doors, he bellowed those words in outrage. Right now I am so grateful Trump has a Texas. God bless Texas.

Also, Davey Crockett died at the Alamo fighting Santa Ana's numerically superior forces during the Texas Revolution. A true testament to "rather die standing up than die on your knees".
I thought he was killed while sick in bed, but I may be getting the names confused in my old age.
Yes overall I agree, however keep in mind Lyndon Banes Johnson. Papa bush was just a young CIA turk then. Kennedy tried to tell us what was coming, what we have seen play out and he was killed in Texas for it and it was CF of deceit and cover ups. They had so many willing paid off participants.
So instead I will verify first and then trust Texas.
