I have to admit this; I am terrified for our country. With a little under 13 days and I am scared out of my mind.
The events of yesterday with the capital building getting taken over... it was a gotdamn setup by the swamp, I just know it.
I don't know what to do. I take care of my family as my parents are in the mid-60s, and my brother has light autism. I feel as if I'm at my breaking point.
Realistically, nobody is coming for you and your family personally, especially in the next few years. Near term, the biggest thing you've lost is your voice and vote. I think that's done. They will likely continue to improve this cheat system.
In your day to day life, they will tax you more, and pass all kinds of laws that suck. I think our lives will now be much closer to European style countries, with nanny state government controls and taxes, more immigration competing for limited jobs etc. It will suck, but it's survivable in the near term.
