Imagine if, instead of half of your country being aligned with the values of the Democratic party, it was in fact more like 70 to 80%. That is what I am living in right now as a Londoner in the UK. My friends, extended family, are all totally brainwashed about this election, and criticise me when I post on social media even when I post evidence of election fraud. I'm losing my mind quite frankly. Everything is locked down due to the virus and yesterday was just depressing. They think you guys are fucking crazy fascists, genuinely.

It will be hard but do your best to get them off telly, maybe just for a week. Replace with books, puzzles, walks outside, conversation (safe dull topics, family history, funny stories), card games, fancy tea party, DIY projects, anything. Then ask them how they feel, on day 7.
