I mean, there are no elections and there are no votes. If Pence made a deal to win with the riggers, then that is all he needs. This idea that any politicians actions will affect their vote count is old thinking that we have to break out of. I know the habit is there to think that voting actually matters so think of this as a friendly reminder.
But remember that the Democrats are greedy as hell, even if they're on the same team as most of the establishment republicans. And much of their base is convinced republicans are evil and that the end justifies the means, so are okay with any form of cheating as long as they win.
The end result of that is I don't see even a fake conservative having any chance in the upcoming elections if the establishment holds onto 2020. It's over for the Republicans, Pence or whoever else. Even if they dangle the carrot of 2024 in front of him, I really doubt it will happen.
I mean, even if they promised him the presidency and they went back on that promise, what's he going to do about it? Nothing, just keep his mouth shut and hope they let him live in peace.
But despite all of the above it's certainly possible they made a promise they probably won't keep.
They'll probably just keep republicans as an evil boogeyman to contrast against the glorious "Party" that controls everything.
