Please understand I want to defund the government monopoly on law enforcement. It is typically self serving and corrupt and they do the least amount to make politicians happy. With the technology we have today, cheap cameras, artificial intelligent motion detection. reliable hand guns. Currently we use bail bondsman to capture criminals who missed a court hearing. They do the job better and at a fraction of the cost. And because they are not government employees they can't get away with corruption and abuse. We obviously have for profit 3rd party camera based ticketing for speeding and other driving violations. More importantly if someone breaks into your house now, many people have to let them rob them because if they use deadly force their lives could be ruined. Many people including that Texas preacher a week ago have to resist using deadly force because they will be called a racist murder for shooting a black man. If there were 3rd party law enforcement they could not be persuade by a politician to push an agenda. You could have multiple 3rd party law enforcement at your house taking statements and giving independent testimony in a court of law. I always found it odd that the same government who is charging you with a crime, and running a fair trial, is also the one that controls the police that gather or fabricate the evidence.
In the end if there were absolutely no police with technology we have to day there would be almost no crime, people would learn to be independent and criminals would very likely be caught and prosecuted. Why can't I go to the DA with video evidence of someone robbing me and tell them a Private investigator identified and found the suspect.
Anyways some cops are good people, most were good people when they started, but the system is a mistake and NO ONE should EVER support the BLUE
