There is no mechanism by which Trump can be inaugurated on the 20th short of a military coup. Could he do it? No, he doesn't have enough of the military behind him, not unless he releases the insurance files and their contents is truly shocking and awful. Does he have those files? You would only believe that if he makes them public or if you think he really wanted to expose Pence and the Republicans, but that is so risky that I really doubt it.
