Everyone is piling on Trump now to distance themselves from those that stormed the Capitol. I think if they do this, it will only cause more unrest. Let the man alone. You made his life hell for four years, already impeached him once, and stole an election from him. Can you please just let him leave peacefully and ride into the sunset?
You know they won't... they've been calling for his utter destruction for 4 years. They will hunt him and every one of his supporters for years to come
They got a taste of what that brings yesterday. Can't imagine they want to continue to poke the bear. Sooner or later they will have to come to the understanding that they can't alienate more than half of the country
