He's so thoughtful. Even when a caller may challenge half his brain (since the other is tied behind his back), he never cops out. He'll work it through, on air, to the point where listeners can hear the gears turning. He is truly great at connecting with people

I don't even mean challenging his positions so much as making a point he hadn't considered. He never just dismisses it. Or at least he doesn't until he thinks it through, and generally he'll do it live.
Basically, the man has actual conversations with people who call in, which is sadly quite rare in talk radio. He wants to understand their point, digest it, then comment on it.
I think Limbaugh, Prager, and Noory are the only hosts who really strive to do that
