"Hold the line" means don't give up, and don't retreat in the face of the enemy.

Except, in war, retreating is also a Good strategy at times. And knowing when you’re fucking losing and the game is rigged. Then you regroup, reassess, and...

I’m sorry everyone is not accepting they did this and were successful. Hold the line is psyop conditioning.

I'm just tired of the platitudes and calls to "Remain calm" and trust that there was a plan for everything (some still do) there is no universal "plan". We were cheated, everyone has said they don't care about the evidence that could do anything about it, the plan was to get rid of Trump however they had to.

Not if you know where it comes from. Watch the Patriot (movie with Mel Gibson), he told the patriots to hold the line. In a metaphorical sense it meant to stop running like cowards and fight. Because you can’t keep the line by doing nothing. You fight for it, you die for it if need be. But it also comes from literal meaning of revolutionary war fighting techniques. The armies would stand in a giant line and fire at each other. He was telling them to continue firing on the British, to NOT tuck tail and run.

It’s meaning was for everybody to keep calm and trust for everything to work out with SCOTUS, Pence, etc. As you very well see none of those things came to fruition.
