I haven’t been many places but the people in Laredo are nice and I have a good time on the ranch. That place actually feels like Texas, as a yucky PNWer.
Are there trout rivers in Texas? Serious question. Everything I’ve seen looks still and bassy or scumfuck slough water where 3-headed carp might thrive lol.
hey I'm a new Yorker ,, A Met not a Yankee :) . and I LOVE IT HERE.!! I also tell people to keep your shit where ever you came . I moved here not because its got beautiful beaches or amazing mountain ranges. But the people is what moved me. Black , white and what have you mostly Christians raised and full of down to earth respect.
The cities are shit like everywhere else but one day hopefully that will change.
I moved here from Colorado, which is breathtakingly beautiful. A 15 minute drive in any direction took me to a place of great beauty. I have still never seen beautiful scenery in Texas, and I regularly travel to Colorado and New Mexico to get out of this bland boring environment. One thing I'll say, is that Texans are friendly and great people. Zero problems there.
I can understand that. When you come from hills and trees, Texas landscape is different from most places for scenery. Really gotta like wide open ranges with the occasionally scattered group of trees.
But I will say from all the places I have seen Texas has the most beautiful sunsets.
Just curious. Why have you hated living in Texas past three years?
He sounds like a Yankee.
lol this - it’s ok we welcome all pedes to Texas... please kick a liberal out on your way in.
I concur.
Am a Yankee. Wife is a Longhorn. Fuck your pancake flat, stifling desolate wasteland.
Jk.
I sincerely hate Austin though. Always have more fun in the border towns 🤷♂️
Austin ain't Texas. It's an infected boil from commiefornia. It needs to be lanced.
Amen brother.

Grew up in west Texas after moving from Oregon back in the 80's.

Glad to know it's only the scenery that you don't like. Sure, it's not Colorado, but everywhere I look in Texas, I see FREEDOM!
I thought North/North East Texas was beautiful.
