Almost every coup is a hard coup. A soft coup in 99% of the cases are just hard coups perceived as "soft coups" when it reality it's a fucking coup. For a coup to be "soft" it would have to be a small number of people in a tiny attempt that ends up being unsuccessful. Like a small number of people trying to get someone impeached but for whatever reason the plans fall through. The only reason I'm adamant about this is because I just hate the normalization of tyranny, the normalization of corruption, and calling what we're seeing now a soft coup would be a massive understatement and contribute towards the normalization
