I'm not in Texas but from what I could find online, "when a person registers to vote in Texas, they do not register with any kind of party affiliation." It seems that party affiliation is based on who you vote for and automatically expires.

I've already unregistered as a Republican. Not that my vote actually matters, but I don't want those treasonous fucks to think they've got me fooled.
What are the exact steps in doing that? I began to Google it and got sidetracked because it just seems complicated. Not as simple as unchecking a box.
