I mean, there were tons of pedes in the capital...not sure how you can say that
He made keyleigh mcenay make a statement on it
Fuck off with that Antifa shit. I was watching it live.
AMEN
God you’re retarded.
What did Trump say?
Yeah. The people that stormed were just opportunist patriots. There was no leadership there and it was never the intention to get in. They would have never thought they could have got that far.
Trumps fault ultimately, what did he think was going to happen when 100,000s pissed off Republicans show up? Hold hands and sing.
Which part of what happened yesterday is something Trump and his team could not have foreseen ?
Yep. "Will be wild", "Fight for Trump" plus a bunch of his staffers surely read this site and know what the mood was. Even then, he could have defused it during his speech.
I don't know what the motivation was but it was entirely predictable. If anything, I was expecting more violence.
I mean the objections would have not done anything anyways besides pretend to care about the Trump base to grift their support for the future.
Pence would have not sent any electors back to the states.
Let me ask you a question. How would you genuinely feel if you were in a position where your governing body takes away your ability to cast your vote and have it count, and then refuse to conduct any form of audit, for basically no reason? On top of that, destroy evidence?
Would you be happy about this? Sad? Upset? Fucking pissed off? Melancholic?
This answers why yesterday happened. It's not rocket science. People are upset, and emotions ran high. That's that. Will I apologize? No. Is violence recommended? No. Are people tired of the bullshit? Yes.
Stop trying to blame yourself for things that other people do.
Honestly, yes.
I never understood the point of this, or virtually any other "peaceful protest." Rallies have a function, but street protests? That's some left wing faggotry. If something is bad enough that you need to take to the streets over it, peace has already failed.
As was predictable, it served no function, and only presented media, politicians, and Corruption Enforcement with ample opportunity to scapegoat and victimize you.
There was no functional reason to descend on the capitol unless you intended to take it by force. And frankly, that should have been the point from the beginning. At least then it would have had a use.
