The constitution as originally written did not allow the federal government to tax our income. It worked just fine for 150 years. The federal government never ran a deficit then. Time to send the right message and go back to what worked until 1913 when the 16th amendment was "passed".

We don't need their permission. Call a convention of states. No feds involved. They live in terror of that happening. The vast majority of states are conservative.

They implemented because they were going to lose a shitton of tax revenue once tge volstead act was implemented. 21st amendment nullified the violated act, income tax should go away too.

The federal government was supposed to primarily be funded by tariffs. That's how the original constitution was written. When 16a was passed (many say it was not) it took the pressure of the feds to protect American jobs with tariffs.

Get rid of the 17th while you're at it.
