It was certainly made to SOUND like a concession without actually saying the words. He never says "Biden". Never says precisely WHO he's condemning, only "violence". All the language is intentionally vague. Really listen to what he's saying. And then listen again as though it's 2 weeks from now and Trump has pulled some kind of Mission Impossible style double-double-cross.
Then go watch Kayleigh's press briefing from earlier today. Same thing. Identical formula. Also, VERY SHORT.
I hate thinking like this and I'm probably deluding myself, but I can't ignore how the messaging from Team Trump has taken a dramatic turn over the last 24 hours. It's incredibly uncharacteristic. Maybe he's really throwing in the towel, but the way it's happening is so unusual. I don't know what to think anymore.
