that only happens if you don't change. doing the same thing under the same circumstances is insanity. we can get better at finding the reasons to believe or ignore predictions, e.g. how is it different in a substantial way this time. if you just simply ignore or don't believe anything simply because you weren't satisfied in the past, then you are demoralized.
