He didn't say "I concede". He knows he won. But irrespective of that Congress certified Biden and he will be inaugurated. Trump is out of options.
Because Trump intends to run again in 2024 or to run for Senate in 2022. Or to start MAGA TV network.
If Trump is impeached, he will be barred from running for office in the future.
Pence is trying to salvage his career.
I should have clarified: by impeached in this context, I mean if he is removed by using the 25th amendment, he will be ineligible to run in any future elections.
Tell you what, if he comes around, cool.
But people aren't going to be strung along with false hope. He said, "a new administration". We take that to mean, literally, a new administration.
I think that everyone wants to believe, but when the man himself says it, we have to accept it.
Its not hard to imagine a situation where things could get out of hand with a crowd that large with emotions so high, and he knew antifa was going to be there so it seems more likely than not something was going to happen. Was the impact of having a massive crowd in front of the Capital worth the potential downside of a big mess unless there was a good reason?
