They can't start the mass arrests until everybody hates us.
If they're trying to make everyone hate us, then they're total idiots at it. Congress is almost universally hated by the American people (even by the left, but they usually hate us more); Blaming us for storming congress is more likely to make people like us. Alot of people thought that congress should have been stormed long ago, and the $600 "Relief" a couple weeks ago didn't do anything to make them more popular.
And then a viking took over the White House, and the mainstream media called it the worst thing that happened to the country since 9/11.
Anyone that doesn't laugh that narrative off can be deceived easily if you just stick to the Overton window. And the problem with deceptive narratives is that the people in power believe their lies too, but they're still lies, and eventually the truth crashes into them.
The left views all Trump supporters at the capitol as white supremacist insurrectionist terrorists. My experience is most leftists love and idolize their radical left representatives while despising the Republicans of course.
The approval rating for congress as a whole has been in the single digits for a good while. Many people like "their" representative, but still have a negative opinion of congress. Very few love congress as a whole.
Someone mentioned that fake patriots wearing backpacks, camo, and MAGA hats had just checked into hotels in DC.
So false flag atrocity, probably. They can't start the mass arrests until everybody hates us.

Divide and conquer.
