As an old combat military officer I would absolutely project uncommon weakness right now if I was Trump. They would not know what phucking hit them in the cranium at 90mph that's for god damn sure.

I have not given up, but my teeth are starting to crack from gritting them.
What I believe is the most difficult part of the battle we find ourselves in—in this futuristic war—is that we are soldiers that have no direct lines of communication to our superiors. The only info we really get is through their public communications which are heavily bent. What we think may be secret messages never seem to pan out regardless of the source. We also have to assume that anyone who is not the general is a potential enemy, including the soldier next to us.
Because of this, it makes it even harder to assess the outcome of any given skirmish as to its long-term damage. “Was this a big loss?” “Not sure! Just fight on, pede! The general knows what he’s doing!”
As a result, we exist on a perpetual rollercoaster. Its turns are so wide we can’t see what’s coming, nor do we know exactly when the track ends. Regardless of how you view this situation, this is probably one of the most mentally strenuous ways to fight that one can conceive. We are deaf and blind most of the time and must rely on faith.
On top of this, the outcome will forever change the direction of this planet.
No pressure though.
P.S. it also needs to be said that hating on people who go through all of this and feel demoralized, angry, or want to quit when the results they are promised never seem to arrive, is not fair. As an example, Trump and Giuliani said there would be new damning evidence presented to Congress that would settle this. It never happened and no one even brought it up. We are quite possibly watching our republic die in real-time. You can’t expect makeshift soldiers not to be going through all kinds of internal turmoil and there aren’t enough of us if you exclude all who are not battle-hardened.
