Well, leftist always lie to get what they want. It's part of their doctrine to be two-faced. They know on some level that everything they want is evil and wrong and no sane person would accept it so they instead hide their true feelings, until they feel they are in a position of power and safety. Then when they open up, it's a boiling teapot of all pent up emotions. It's like how the "feminist" men end up being rapist ect. Obviously he wanted you, trophy wife, maybe some sort of power thing, I don't know. Maybe it was petty envoy over Trump? But the reasons why he wanted you were wrong, and he lied, and wants to control you like some sort of slave (the left are ALWAYS the slave owners).... I know you are in a bad situation, but thankfully you at least learned early. And you didn't have children with him (I assume from what you mentioned), so things could of been even more complicated... So it's better to learn now than to deal with being in a relationship with someone who hates who you are. You deserve better than to spend your life with someone who can not accept you. When times are tough, the person you love should help you get through them, not make things worse.
