My daughter and I have been battling the last few months. I grew up in the neighborhood that started it all in Minneapolis. Since then, she has been swept up in the hysteria. I took her through the streets on New years eve to go down memory lane and discuss to her, what it was like growing up there in the 80s/90s early 2000s. It was decimated. Not all is gone, but very little has been rebuilt or any attempts to clean it up.
Today she called me absolutely evil for my service (still serve) and she is extremely disappointing in me. I asked her if she is okay with the slaying of a patriotic woman who has served this nation and done 4 combat tours. Her response was "Thats what she gets for being a terrorist."
If you have kids and can afford it, private school or home school. I was not in a position to be able to afford it and my time away on tours has lead my daughter to be stolen from me. I will never forget what has been stolen from me or forgive that transgression.
Stay strong. Keep YOUR faith. Accept that others are going to go over the edge. Its whether you choose to or not. And it seems you are making the right choice.
What a messed up world we live in. You are amazing. Thank you for everything you do for this country. I hope things work out with your daughter. All we want is to live out lives free and live this country
This has truly brought me closer to Christ. And seeing this battle we are in. It will require (whether people like it or not) everyone to have some level of "skin in the game."
I have made peace with it and her. I hope she does to before I leave this world. But, I have learned long ago...I will attempt every angle I know of to sway a person (in this case her) to see things from others points of view (empathy right) and if it doesn't work, I can walk away knowing I tried my best.
I homeschooled our daughter from 10th-12th grade. Lefty friends on the internet AND the internet morphed her into a brainless lefty. But the fat lady hasn't sung on her yet, and I'm hoping going through a collapse and having REAL things to worry about could bring her around.
After a while people will start thinking for themselves.
I think every teen who grew up with the internet went through the same.
If she's still young there's hope
And also, let's remember that teens usually adopt to fit it. Maybe she's just sharing those opinions cause she doesn't know the full story. Most of the people are like that.
Don't pressure her if you believe she's not fully SJW-level gone
This is honestly one of the things I hope happens, in a way. Enough people suffer so much as a result of Beijing Biden and the Whore of Babylon that they realize how good they had it with Trump and America First.
Eight years of Obama didn't do anything for most people. My honest hope is that we can establish better avenues to share video and audio clips in their entirety to let the normies see how easy it is for "news" organizations to completely change the meaning of words, simply by cutting the few seconds before or after something. It's astounding to me that there still exist people who steadfastly refuse to do so with the entirety of the internet at their hands.

I can't even imagine.. maybe one day she'll wake up from the hysteria but who knows what the future brings us.
Terrible to hear this, kids are being radicalized to despise America and it's history by the communist education system.
