Captchas are used to Train A.I.'s to recognize tagged items in photos. These are being used to train an A.I. to track bicycles and boats, both alternate means of transportation that can be used to circumvent the shutdown of roads. This should make you ask the question: "why the sudden interest in identifying these things with an A.I. program?"

Honestly I am surprised that I was the only one today who mentioned this. I know I am not the only techie pede here with an understanding of common A. I. Training tools. I would have thought this would freak out the tinfoil hat crowd a lot more.

The incessant use of it coming up when you refresh, it has been unnerving for me. What is wrong with the normal cookie that keeps us logged in.... we are obviously not conducting DDoS and just freaking out trying to get the latest truth....

Can Cloudflare capture your browser history when it performs its browser check?

Depends on the browser and if you're allowing it with NoScript.

It is a time waster, similar to a big roundabout line at an amusement park. I swear I keep missing some and being let in anyway.

Just pointing out the obvious question raised when you know what reCAPTCHA is used for. Google 411 was used the same way to train Google voice recognition back in the day.
