He talked a very strong game the days leading up to January 6th. For him to do an entire 180 - no, worse than that, he and his team regurgitated MSM talking points - is unimaginable. Happens to the best of us at times. He's way smarter than most, but he's only human. I'm just not confident that Jan 6th went according to his plans.
