YES. im pretty excited, to be honest.

death to catholicism has been a dream of mine; to think it might happen in my lifetime is too much to contemplate

Why do you want to destroy catholicism?

The order of importance from my perspective during my time at "mass":

God
Jesus / Mary / Angels / Heaven's citizens
Catholics
Earth
Animals / Dogs / Cats / Pets
Humans / Non-Catholics
Feces

after a few years of that, one begins to wonder.

all of this sounds a whole like its 'against God'...

and here we are... maybe my experience was with 'lazy catholics'

presumbly the Vatican / prominant catholics; Pelosi, Biden et al are to blame.

they, ostensibly, take that chart/ guide to heart and have enacted their plan to make sure
the world knows that catholics and the vatican are in charge.

it is my theological opinion that the church, catholic or otherwise,
insert themselves between humans and their spiritual journey.

where, if i am reading correctly, the church is there to serve humans.

not the other way around.

ive been to churches on the east coast and the west coast.

the ONLY church that tries to convey that their constituents are 'special'

are the catholics.

the synagogues dont care all too much since you have to be born of a female jewish mother. so they dont preach all that much about the separation of the 'believer' and the 'non-believer'

the mosques are procedural and are distinct about identifying but also enticing the 'outsider'.

in the end. its all the same game.

it is:

You <---> God

not

You <---- church /synagogue/ mosque ---- > God

and so...

IF... the vatican and parts of the italian government are involved.

then yes. demolish the vatican.

as an american, im here to tell you, you cant practice catholicism.

but i will badmouth it for the rest of my life.

like saying 'yeh, those nazis were awful. same goes for those catholics'

"as an american, im here to tell you, you cant practice catholicism."

So you're saying the faith is rebellious?

Now I'm definitely doing it just because you said I couldn't.

'Murica.

If OP is not a Christian, it might be

  • indulgence of the high-ups
  • the sheer hypocrisy of some of the directives (do as we say, not as we do)
  • issues that are too sensitive to talk about here
  • the REWRITING of THE WORD and essence of Jesus to the point where many can't believe it (and IN THE AGE OF REASON forsake Jesus) for the purpose of growing their numbers and getting more monetary offerings - Vatican is pretty rich.

I'm not here to start a religious war - I'm here to answer why OP may wish to dismantle the Catholic Church.
