It will mutate again because it is a SARS virus. Remember when they told us we can never develop a common cold vaccine because the common cold virus mutates too often? The common cold virus is a SARS virus just like COVID. I believe in well tested, well trialed vaccines for dangerous diseases. But COVID has a very high rate of survival and the US death rate has not increased in the last year.
