If he and the military does have a plan to rectify this obvious attempt at a coup, you'd think they'd not want to give anything away as to location or plans for protection and absolute secrecy. So he and family are absolutely quiet until the plan unfolds. Creating a deep fake video in this scenario only makes sense if it substantially obscures intel that would give away location...which I imagine it does. Or Trump's injured and they can't show that for morale reasons.

Or the military and intelligence community have mutinied and locked him and his family up and are playing out the clock until Biden is confirmed. The deep fake video makes sense here as it keeps the rubes (us) placated that the mutiny hasn't occurred.
The only thing that gives me comfort is that the DEMS and GOP are still in a panic mode and that only makes sense in scenario one...unless the mutiny is not in their name and the military want some other leader.
The fact the Trumps aren't communicating and there is a weird video is not comforting. Just my musings on the very confusing matters at hand.

I really, really fucking hope that’s not the case. But seeing Kayleigh’s demeanor during that bizarre presser and the likely fake video is making me mighty fucking uneasy.
How is her sad demeanor weird? She had to say that to a room of hyenas.
She seemed shaken. Scared even. She routinely has to present information to a pack of ravenous hyenas, and handles them deftly. That’s why she got nicknamed the Valkyrie. That presser she just did... the Valkyrie seemed scared.
If Trump is in Texas, she’s probably taking orders from Pence. Couldn’t move everyone.
She seemed depressed. Like everything she had worked for for the past few years had come to an abrupt and unexpected end. Like she knew that this would be the last time doing something she loved, all because the evil people in front of her successfully stole an election from her boss.
I don’t like it, but that is the most obvious explanation for her appearance.
I hope so.

It doesn't look like regular Kayleigh. She's always facing a bunch of awful presstitutes. This looks like she's under duress "say this or else". Like she's a hostage.
She was dressed for a funeral.
