If he and the military does have a plan to rectify this obvious attempt at a coup, you'd think they'd not want to give anything away as to location or plans for protection and absolute secrecy. So he and family are absolutely quiet until the plan unfolds. Creating a deep fake video in this scenario only makes sense if it substantially obscures intel that would give away location...which I imagine it does. Or Trump's injured and they can't show that for morale reasons.

Or the military and intelligence community have mutinied and locked him and his family up and are playing out the clock until Biden is confirmed. The deep fake video makes sense here as it keeps the rubes (us) placated that the mutiny hasn't occurred.
The only thing that gives me comfort is that the DEMS and GOP are still in a panic mode and that only makes sense in scenario one...unless the mutiny is not in their name and the military want some other leader.
The fact the Trumps aren't communicating and there is a weird video is not comforting. Just my musings on the very confusing matters at hand.

I think it's fake because it looks like they literally overlaid him onto a pixel art background. It just LOOKS fake and uncanny valley when you stare closely at it.
Oh I fully agree with the uncanny valley on that one...
Could be he is in the warroom at the DYES AFB in Texas and he is using the green screen for optics purpose. It would make absolute sense to have that capability, especially in time of war to obfuscate his location.
Edit to add: That very weird address served multiple purposes, he told the media and normies everything they need to hear to move on with their lives, while never explicably stating that he is going to concede, only saying that there will be a new administration (we don't want Pence back, period).
Also the msm has been begging him to concede, now that he "conceded" they can't and don't want to demand him to speak again, they are the move along nothing to see here party and they won't kiss a gift horse in the mouth, or so they think
