They really do. I have family that have flipped shit on me, family that I've never even met just totally flip their shit on me just because THEY brought up the politics and I only even mentioned how I'm supporting our president. Totally flipped the fuck out and disowned me right then and there. Would've been nice to connect with some family since I basically have none but fucking hell - if they're like that then fuck that.
Mother is a bit of a loon too but we've (mainly me) just learned to keep it out of the discussions we ever have.
It's sad that they've put us in such a situation where it's an iron wall to cross when trying to discuss anything. I feel like whenever people want to know about my opinions on things I can only answer "it doesn't matter what my opinion is" -mainly because we're getting this shit shoved down our throats, but also because if I say anything that's different than their opinion - oh boy let's get ready to rumble!
I do have friends who know how to function properly, but it seems like the majority are just out for blood on the drop of a dime. Very sad... And it's the lefty ones who are always willing to kill immediately over the dumb shit, not at all what they're making it on the media.
Leftists are "people" who simply want to follow what is popular, and use that as a means to socialize and abuse others. Never make friends with any, and never trust them. We need to have each others' backs nowadays and we need to get more serious about it. I hope communities.win opens soon so we can network based upon mutual interests.
I agree. We also need to establish real communities with the folks who are physically next to us, in our neighborhoods. People can't just keep expecting to have the government facilitate these things. All it takes is a physical bulletin board in a common location, like at a park or just the grocery store, to come up with these groups. This Internet/web garbage is not necessary to exist - I think things worked better before all that became so mainstream.
It's a good thing they don't, they'd use them over the most insignificant shit and on every chance they get.
