I might get deported for this but I feel obligated to say it, I am a huge supporter but their speeches are really hurting me today. The footage of the cold blooded murder of Ashli Babbitt has moved me in a how terrible and unjust it was. Today and yesterday I have listened to ALL prominent leadership figures in this MAGA movement. They ALL condemn the protestors and praise police. This includes: Kayleigh McEnany, Rudy Giuliani, Don Jr, Donald Trump himself.

Kayleigh's was the most hard for me to listen to because she was mourning the death, while praising the police, of which a member executed in cold blood a peacefully protesting patriot.

I understand they might be forced to say these things, under duress or immense preassure. A woman however was clearly murdered, she deserves respect and justice. No matter what is held over them Kayleigh, Giuliani, Don Jr, and even Donald are cowards for condemning people like her and praising the police. If they can't make a verbal stand at any cost for that then yes they are cowards that don't deserve to be followed.

I'll say this. If this is a stall or a longer con for a larger plan and these words are retracted for strategic reasons, then sure I can understand why they did it HOWEVER:

If Jan 20th comes and there was no larger plan then Donald, Don Jr, Kayleigh, Giuliani, all of them that posted their message in unison are all spineless cowards that wouldn't even lift a finger for someone that believed, stood, and died for them AT THEIR BEHEST. Instead they throw them under the bus, and that would be pathetic, I can't follow that. To conclude at this point my conscious is telling me their slander is unforgivable unless it's a con, and if it is then you can't blame me for feeling this way now.

I don't want to be that guy, but they could have said her name.

I am also feeling this way. Everyone has been repeating the same negative narrative and then for Trump himself to repeat it makes me sad. He called us out there just to throw us under the bus.

Speak your mind, Pede. We all are grieving and we all do it differently. We still are part of something bigger than any one person.

My problem is the election was stolen in broad daylight. we were denied equal protection, due process and every other process. the media censured us and the president night and day hiding the evidence. Every supposed ally abandoned Trump to at least his political death.

Then potentially some patriots and certainly some instigators create a scene at the capitol over it and we are un-american? You gotta be kidding me. the revolutionary war was fought to be free of this kind of tyranny. So a small incident occurs and Team Trump just calls it quits? Now 75 million Americans don't get theirs? This has to be clown world. It can't be more wrong. If this is how it ends DJT violated his oath to defend the constitution and set up his most ardent supporters for persecution. A monstrous betrayal!

The jury is out until January 20. I said I wouldn't give up until Biden is president and I stand by that. I have thought better of Trump than my statement above he has a short time left to make this right.

We've been thrown away like a bag of trash. Truly on our own now and - if we hope to survive - we have to find new leaders for our movement. Hopefully people of integrity who won't abandon us when the going gets tough.

Something def weird going on. Since when does Trump say you have defiled the seat of democracy? LOL- that sounds like a swamp politician wrote that. It just sounds so wrong coming from him.

Sounds like the same people who said that protesters "desecrated" the floor

I was also appalled today that Trump didn’t mention her name or express condolences to her husband and family after spending so much time condemning the protesters and praising the police. This was very disrespectful to her memory and his supporters. Unbelievable.

Thank you Nellie, I've been kind of numb to the world for a while now, nothing really bothers me, haven't cried in over 10 years but every time I see the footage of her death or a picture of her I just start crying. Something about this is just tearing me apart, and the things you mention are the things I believe too MUST be said.

We were all expecting some acknowledgement of our terrible grief over this poor woman’s senseless death from any of Trump’s team and most certainly from he himself. It is not like him to not even honor a supporter, especially a military veteran, who was outright murdered in this manner in front of the whole world. Her last moments of life broadcast across every video and social media. I am sickened and horrified at how she was shot point blank thru the neck and laid there dying. Just a horrific and inexcusable taking of a human life. Then to see these vermin who hate us so vehemently laughing, mocking and celebrating the terrible death of this vibrant young woman - and not have Trump say something against their filthy disrespect. She was a major supporter of Trump - one of our own. It is unforgivable.

It has always been one of their weakest character flaws but a necessary political ploy

well said.

We should remember that none of us truly know how we would talk about it if we were in exactly their position. That said, I noticed a couple things that might encourage you.

POTUS said "orderly" transition. As did Kayleigh. This is a deliberately distinct term from "peaceful". Of course we want peace ALWAYS. But without justice there is no peace. So I think there is a reason for the careful and consistent choice of words.

Another thing, when they condemn all acts of violence and all law breaking, they are saying the necessary words, but we can know that they are condemning the traitors and murderers in those statements not us.

We need to keep up the fight for truth. I'm not saying "trust the plan". There may be one, maybe not. But I do know we can trust in God.

I do trust in god and believe the dishonor of condemning this patriot that died at the beck and call of Donald Trump is not godly, it's pathetic and dishonorable. I do think there is a plan but with all my heart I hope that a reason is revealed that they had to slander her memory like this or I can never forgive them and will denounce them.

Glad you shared. We are all stinging from the betrayals we've experienced back to back.

I'm not going to deport... But, just remember Trump spent 5 fucking years getting this shit going. Don't leave him because he's down. Who else you going to trust? Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Mitch... Who?
