That IS where our country is going, unfortunately.
Every member of this site is 100% on a watch list. Anyone who helped organize the protest is in serious risk of a visit from the corrupt FBI.
We are such a small - and anonymous - community, a lot of us could get scooped up and no one even would notice.

Good points, but Tor has been controlled since many years ago, ever since they took down Silk Road. It's actually possible that it was always controlled from its inception.
VPNs will give you up in a second if requested by law.
Unfortunately, there's no true anonymity on the internet, just make sure you don't break the law in your country, and no one can/will do shit. Otherwise, it doesn't matter what you use or where you post, if someone is out to get you they would try regardless.
If you don't trust US VPN providers, there are international. protonvpn. If you are a high value target, I guess nothing is safe. But for a couple of comments which a commie judge decides to interprete as inciting violence, they can't get a warrant. Especially not abroad. Just my 2 cents.
Yeah, I guess a VPN makes sense in a mass-lawsuit type of scenario where you're not targeted individually.

Just download and start it. It's slower than VPN because it re-routes through random IPs. Many websites will behave differently in it, and may ask you capthcas and so on. Seems to work ok with TDW - the beauty of simple text interface!
