I've been a weight lifter for 3 years. It changes you as a person. There's a strength, confidence, and discipline that comes with it, and I'm technically still skinny and weak compared to a lot of guys, even ones that don't even lift. It's based on just having a small frame and small muscles to start with. Compared to my former self, I'm extremely strong. When I was 15, I went to the weight room in gym class, and I was struggling to bench press the empty bar. Now I could hit it a few times with 45s on each end.
