Trump has been saying for months that we caught them, wait and see what comes out over the next few weeks, etc. Then he invited us to DC, for which we thought was going to be the big MOAB he and everyone around him have been promising! He then proceeds to deliver nothing new and basically a grim speech! He says we were robbed of the election and if we lose this our county is over! Then patriots storm the capital to try to do something to stop the end of days! Then Trump comes out today and blames the patriots and says this has been fun but we are handing you off to the communists! WTF! Was he just bullshitting us this whole time? I am just lost and confused

You're not wrong for feeling this way. It's a disgrace that his entire team has thrown patriots under the bus and has shit on the memory of a patriot like Ashli while praising the police, one of which executed her in cold blood. If there isn't a huge plan at play here that justifies slandering her memory then they are all spineless pathetic cowards.
He wasn’t bullshitting us, but he knew the moment he lost the election that he wouldn’t be sworn into a second term. That’s why he pardoned people in the background.
All he’s been doing is trying to delegitimize Biden because of what those assholes did to him in 2016 and for 4 years straight. What comes around goes around kind of thing. I highly doubt he thought it would’ve led to people literally storming the Capital Building.
But it’s that simple. Anyone who though the election was going to be overturned was living in fantasy land.
But dont you see the problem with him saying that we got this, wait till you see what is coming out, etc. This gives 80 million people false hope. Then he says our country is over and he will never hand us over to the socialists.
I definitely see the issue with it. But either way, he simply wanted to fuck Biden over as much as possible, which I think most of us can agree with. It wasn’t an issue for me because I never actually believed he would be sworn in after the votes were counted (them being legitimate or not is not what’s up for debate here, because i knew it would never actually have a shot in court or whatever). It was over on Election Day. It’s truly that simple and I wish more people understood that. Maybe it was irresponsible of him to do what he did, I really don’t know. As much as I love the guy, it’s sucks admitting defeat. It’s high time for us to be the better men, unlike the Dems in 2016.
