It's the same reason that cell phone jammers were deployed all over DC and social media platforms censored Trump's video telling the protestors to go home safely.

Did she even know he was there? Did he shout a warning or try any other means to deter her? I am all for deadly force for self defense or resisting arrest - this was neither.
The guy was sort of hidden from the side, I doubt she saw the pistol pointed at her.... Also the guy with the pistol did not give her any verbal warning whatsoever... granted... it was noisy there, and he was wearing a mask, so I doubt she would have heard it either way.
