I could definitely see a leader like this winning local power, then declaring his area is not governed by Biden’s government, then other localities flocking to join him.
Say a governor of Texas takes very active control over his branch of the national guard... Then gets a few adjacent states to align with him, and then convinces one of many top generals to go along... There are an infinite number of roads, many will test them, one will eventually succeed.
There are no national elections anymore.
Many people would welcome a dramatic change just because the current ruling class is so corrupt and incompetent...
Going by the number of dictators in history being voted in has never been a requirement. Franco was never elected for instance nor was Assad senior or Sadam or the junta in Argentina.
