I am from Michigan. If you want to vote absentee, there is a documented process.
- Fill out an absentee ballot request. (paper trail)
- Clerk documents receipt of your request in our Electronic Poll Book.
- Clerk verified your signature request with your voter registration.
- Clerk send out absentee ballot, and documents it in the Electronic Poll Book.
And you can stop right there, because Michigan had over 170,000 voters in Wayne County who “voted” with an ABSENTEE BALLOT they never requested or were sent.
This is how the electronic “ballot box” was stuffed in Michigan for the “ballot dump” except they didn’t “fix” automatic fields of “request received, ballot sent” (which have both a date and time stamp to protect against rigging).
This is easily verifiable, and the information WAS publicly available on both the Michigan Secretary of State and the Wayne County Clerk’s websites UNTIL they got caught.
We have laws against this, and established procedures to prevent it. It is also easily verifiable by checking with the “voters” (who may or may not exist, and may or may not have actually voted).
Election fraud happened in Michigan. SOMEBODY “fixed” the Electronic Poll Book for the “ballot dump”. We have laws and procedures against this.
The only reason people in power aren’t doing something about this egregious act of treason is because they are in on it.
In other words, the CRIMINALS have committed a CRIME.
Pretending they won’t do it again in the future with no repercussions, plus a bonus AWARD of “winning” is RIDICULOUS.

So what's the plan to fight this?
I don’t have one. The people who did the analysis posted their findings weeks ago. I have sent the links to my legislatures, so they “know”.
Thus far the response has been -
“Wayne County certified their election was conducted in accordance with the laws, and the Michigan Secretary of State agrees. There is nothing to be done. We are helpless because it is time to Move On.”
And the rage is there, because anyone with half a brain now knows the system is rigged. To be fair, elections in Detroit have long been suspect, and the rest of the state ignored it (maybe because of the days of Mayor Coleman Young and the Detroit machine?), so now we are reaping what we sowed when we turned a blind eye to lawless behavior.
If anyone has ideas, awesome, because as a normal citizen who doesn’t live in Wayne County, I have no clue. Our media is compromised, our legislature is useless, our judiciary is elected, and evidence of wrongdoing is ignored.
Dr Linda Lee Tarver must be convinced to take up the cause.
The key to ensuring a secure vote is fundamentally the same as any security issue; you close the loopholes.
For instance, if you don't allow absentee voting, problems 1-4 go away. Its not complicated. Of course there are other problems, like voter id's, clean voter roles, etc. but those are other potential loopholes that need to be shut. Also, there probably should be some level of absentee voting for those who are indefinitely confined, but those have loopholes that can also be closed (sufficiently) while still allowing for it.
It is not impossible to eliminate most or possibly all voter fraud. It just takes the desire by the legislative bodies to make that happen. That certainly does not exist on the federal scale as we have seen, though I bet there are at least a few states legislatures that have a majority that desire that.
I am not feeling a ton of hope, but some small smidge remains. We shall see.
I am an election worker, and absentee voting is NOT the problem (because we have rules and regulations to make sure it is secure).
The problem is that BROKEN RULES and OBVIOUS FRAUD have ZERO CONSEQUENCES.
The Southfield Clerk was CONVICTED of tampering with over 500 absentee ballots in 2018. She is still on the payroll in Southfield, and presumably ran the 2020 election.
Did I mention she received some prestigious awards from local democrats the year she committed her crimes? As a CONVICTED CRIMINAL (currently appealing the six felonies), she is not in jail and is still employed as the Southfield Clerk.
