I agree. Our governor shut everything down again not long after the election. At first, it was only supposed to be thru Dec. 14. (So no Thanksgiving with elderly in-laws and extended family who are afraid of the virus). Then, of course, numbers were still bad so he had to extend it until Jan 4. (So now no Xmas with family either). Then on the 3rd he announced that things still bad so he had to extend it until Jan 11.
I’m just waiting for the decree Sunday night that suddenly things are looking good and we can start opening up again. The fact that no one here notices the manipulation drives me mad.
