Is it possbile to have a thread where we will be able to know where Don is atm? Is he safe? Is his family safe? Are they being kept captive or something? Earlier some ppl said he flew to Texas, but where is he now? What is he up to?

He is either getting ready for the 4D checkmate, is captured by the enemy, or is laying low because he failed. I pray it's the first one.
I think we can infer several things.
Right now, Congress (Democrat’s leading and Republicans following) are preparing articles of impeachment. These may be brought to a vote. Probably.
The articles may include a treason charge. If so, and if they are passed, the USA enters unknown territory. Constitutional scholars couldn’t agree on anything in 2020, so I suspect nobody knows how it works in 2021, either.
So, I suspect POTUS is in a secure spot, with family and some paid attorneys and a few loyal staffers.
First comes the investigatory period. Calls with go-betweens, maybe the most conservative members of Congress or, as I suspect, their lawyers. Maybe nobody in Congress is picking up. Examination of the relevant law. Strategy formation.
Then POTUS will attempt to negotiate. He’s bargaining for his life. Maybe he has something to bargain with. Dunno. I doubt he does, because the people who have abandoned him took those options when they left. But maybe he has a deadman switch. Hope so.
The vote on the floor will mostly be a sham, with the arrangement pre-determined. Pelosi wants GITMO. President obviously wants freedom. Settlement probably somewhere in-between. Truth and fairness won’t matter a bit.
