For years it was bs promises of how he would take apart the FISA coup, yet did nothing. This is the one time I think this traitor is serious. I will forever regret being thankful to this traitor when he stood up for Kavanaugh.

He didn't fool us, He only fooled Trump in endorsing him. One of many mistakes made by Trump

A MAGA republican ran against him in NC to primary Linsey Graham and wrote a letter to Trump to endorse him detailing how Lindsey had slow walked the FISA abuse investigation etc... and Lindsey did not have Trump back but somehow Lindsey was able to win Trump endorsement.

I have to admit, I was fooled for a while after the stand he took with Kav. I was also fooled by Barr at first as well. Major learning lessons for me, have to dig deep into past history and to seriously adjust my trust limits. I do think Trump has made a lot of mistakes regarding who to trust, and thinking that the ones that were not on board could be won over. I can relate, as I have continually made these same mistakes repeatedly throughout life.

Trump had no choice. He was an outsider to politics. He needed to rely on the establishment Republicans to some extent. Even though they were mostly backstabbing snakes.

True. Also looking back he basically was walking into a trap that was set full of pit vipers before he took the office.

Mitch McConnell forced Trump to endorse incumbents only. That's why Trump hardly ever endorsed a primary challenger in the Senate races. Probably how terrible candidates like McSally in Arizona and Kelly Loeffler in Georgia made it to the general.
