He started because our "leaders" had already taken the government away from the people. It's OUR government, and the few we put in charge of it were seditious and overthrew OUR power to govern ourselves. Do I wish Trump solved everything for us? Yes. But he completed the most difficult and most important part - opening our eyes so we can see it!
We're not worse off, it only looks that way now that we see how corrupt these institutions are. We are MUCH better off now that millions are no longer in the dark!
The key going forward now is how to act on what we've found out.
A lot of this I feel people have known or had an inkling of for a very long time. But to see the blatant disregard for the process, complete fraud and corruption right in front of our eyes, the reaction of the people right now is going to be the real gauge of if we all just let this stand or actually do something about it.

On an emotional level, I'm refusing to believe Trump would do all of this just to throw in the towel. But all the evidence points to just that, and I won't be shocked when nothing happens and Biden takes office.

The past 4 years he faced calls of impeachment with one attempt, and now with less than 2 weeks we're back to impeachment. They know during 4 years without a POTUS TRUMP is still a threat to the swamp.
I agree. Trump fights smart. I know it's disappointing but I don't believe the military would carry out an order. Generals have openly defied him. If he gave a failed order that would be the end of the movement. We need to figure out where to go from here without damaging what Trump still offers in terms of a populist movement that can save the country. Frankly I've thought we were in for a long fight for quite a while.
Completely agree we need to guard from damaging the power TRUMP still holds. With republicans being out of power it will be interesting to see how the rinos try and hide behind a MAGA mask. I think the voter fraud will play out like the Russia hoax, with republicans acknowledging the fraud after the fact so they can try and leach off TRUMP's base. They are already trying to set up the storming of the capital as a way to damage TRUMP. We know instigators were involved and any future forms of protest should be prepared to take precautions against infiltrators. IMO we need to stop focusing our energy, time and resources on protests and focus on getting people involved at the local and state level.
