Whitmer has been bashing the shit out of the DeVos family - mostly over their criticism of Covid lockdowns. If Betsy really wanted to keep her political powder dry, she almost had to resign. Every local media outlet in the state is like Pravda. This will, at the very least, give her some ability to distance herself from “Trump”.

I will never cast a vote for her. Just offering a view of why she bailed.
You are probably right because she thought the game was over. I honestly think this is how it always had to be.
We are currently in a period of Abeyance. This is where we see who turncoats and bails ship on their own morals for personal gain and who sticks by the idea of liberty and a republic.

The DeVos family is the swamp. I voted for her milquetoast husband Dick back in 2006 and all we got was Comrade Granholm's 2nd term
How far would you say we have to go back to have seen an honest Governor? Milliken? Engler was just as bad as Blanchard. Snyder was awful as was Granholm! No wonder the state is a mess.

It’s as if the leadership at media outlets simply don’t care about telling the truth. Ever. The local stations that serve the top of the mitten are unwatchable. 20 something anchors that don’t have the mental capacity to understand that what they are saying is total bullshit.
