I’m sick and tired of hearing nearly universal condemnation from establishment Republicans about the actions taken at the capital. When will it be enough for Republicans to defend conservatives and patriots, even if they aren’t perfect? Democrats are putting actual criminals in golden caskets, but I haven’t heard any serious calls for mourning or remembering Ashli Babbitt’s name from establishment Republicans. What will it take for them to be willing to even slightly defend the actions of their own conservative base? Would it be enough if they pack the Supreme Court? Or try to take our guns away? Or how about if they try to rig a presidential election?

The men and women at the capital this week behaved in the main in completely civil and peaceful ways. What occurred in DC was actually the definition of a mostly peaceful protest. Republicans must begin to defend their base.
