This is a high-energy Trump rally. START ACTING LIKE IT.

  1. POTUS never used the words "I concede".
  2. It's not Jan. 20th yet.

Edit 2 (even more reasoning): 4. Has Kamala even resigned her seat yet?

Edit 3 (removed reason 3 - thanks to ztrich007 for the heads up) 3. Why would they try to impeach / 25th amendment someone who "will be leaving in 12 days" ? Thanks to ztrich007, this is because impeachment precludes POTUS from holding any future political office.

That’s not how it works though.

Biden was declared president-elect via the constitutional process. Whether or not Trump is in the White House, claiming he is still POTUS, etc., on January 20th at noon Biden will be president. It is not up for debate anymore - that is the constitutional position at this point. Inauguration or not, on that day and hour the power transfers.
