I will say this.. we do need to do a better job on optics in general. This guy is amazing optics because he crushes the narrative of 'white supremacists' by being with us. The same goes for the myriad of Chinese people that were with us with 'end the CCP' signs. However, the people carrying rebel flags are not the best optics.. Somehow they ended up in every major photo at the US Capitol that the media showed.. and those flags basically negated all the other flags and signs according to the media. Sure, they could carry those flags as a 'symbol against tyranny' or for 'states to be able to leave the union' or for 'heritage'.. but the media has successfully made Rebel flags almost entirely represent a symbol of hate. Wish we had some photos make it mainstream that didn't have a rebel flag - because there really weren't that many of them in the huge crowd..
