I talk to both of my boys often about what is going on and show them both sides of the argument. 10 min of CNN / 10 min of Fox / 10 minutes of watching the actual speeches or reading the actual reports that the news is trying to convey. The older one has already learned to go directly to the source and ignore the talking heads revisions of actual events.
The administrators are still trying to keep me calm, but I have heard them already too many times try to excuse the math teachers speech as poorly worded...... Um nope cats out of the bag, the teacher is a racist and the only acceptable response is removal
